Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in January 1974. Her most popular role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, a prominent actress director producer playwright educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her first memories as being at play rehearsals together with her mother. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk fell pregnant during the filming of season three's finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E!
